The call for papers for the conference Les paroles d’abord! La chanson en français à l’intersection du poétique et du politique, organised by APEF: Associação Portuguesa de Estudos Franceses is now open.

The meeting takes place face-to-face and online on September 29th and 30th and October 1st. This event aims to explore the different paths of the song, which under an apparent banality is a particularly rich subject, given that it challenges not only literary and performative forms, but also critical discourses from the historical, theoretical, poetic, artistic and linguistic point of view. The event is organized with the collaboration of the Centre francophone REVIF (University of Coimbra) and IELT.
