The conference Cinema Português: Uma história de fantasmas [Portuguese Cinema: A Story of Ghosts] will take place on November 28th, 29th and 30th at Colégio Almada Negreiros.

Bringing together a representative group of researchers who have dedicated themselves to the study of cinema in Portugal and/or to the problematic of spectrality in artistic studies, this meeting will promote a broad and diversified discussion, seeking to examine the singularities of the spectral imaginary in Portuguese cinema.

This event is organized in the framework of IELT’s research project Spectrality: Literature and the Arts.
