The ebook On mural painting – Almada Negreiros, Spain and dictatorships. Conservation and art historical approaches is available in open access. Mariana Pinto dos Santos, Milene Gil and Simão Palmeirim are the coordinators of the publication.

As part of the Almada project (Lab HERCULES, PTDC/ART-HIS/1370/2020), this book brings together works from the fields of conservation and art history, in a multidisciplinary approach, with contributions predominantly on Almada Negreiros, but also an important study about mural painting in Spain during the twentieth century. The book’s chapters include the results of lectures that took place at the beginning of the project and which have since been developed for publication, as well as recent studies on Almada Negreiros’ mural paintings.
