The work is authored by Joël Thomas and has a preface by Carlos Carreto. From the function of mirror neurons to the history of brain theories and representations between Classic Antiquity and the XXI century, passing through quantum physics and neurosciences, the work reestablishes the broken dialogue between Humanities and Natural Sciences. With this in mind, it invites us to reformulate the theoretical and hermeneutic assumptions with which we approach a work of art through a profoundly renovated design, both methodologically and epistemologically, of the sciences of the imaginary.
