The book O Desvendar da Arte de Pintura Mural de Almada Negreiros (1938-1956). Imagens de um projeto transdisciplinar [Unveiling the Art of Mural Painting by Almada Negreiros (1938-1956). Images from a transdisciplinary project] is available in open access.

The publication is the result of a transdisciplinary project coordinated by the HERCULES Laboratory, aimed at safeguarding Almada Negreiros’s works and promoting their public appreciation and recognition. It documents not only the technical and scientific process, but also the emotional involvement of all those who took part in this tribute to Almada’s legacy as a muralist.

The book brings together contributions from experts in various fields, including IELT researcher Simão Palmeirim, with the article “No papel” [On paper].
