Património Alimentar de Portugal, by Maria Manuel Valagão and published by the Francisco Manuel dos Santos Foundation, was awarded Best Food Tourism Book in the World at the Gourmand Awards, during the Cascais World Food Summit.

The announcement was made by Edouard Cointreau, President and Founder of the Gourmand Awards, who praised the work for its depth and cultural significance.
