Margarida Seixas

 

Professor and PhD in Law (2013) at Faculdade de Direito da ULisboa. She is member of IURIS – Instituto de Investigação Interdisciplinar (FDUL). She collaborates with CEI (ISCAP-Porto) and IELT (NOVA FCSH). Main research areas: legal profile of slavery in Portuguese Law, History of Labour Law, colonial compulsory work. She published several books and papers, namely Pessoa e Trabalho no Direito Português (1750-1878): escravo, liberto e serviçal (2016) and História do Direito do Trabalho I – Um Direito em construção (2021). She is a member of the editorial committee IP – Interpretatio Prudentium ­– Direito Romano e Tradição Romanista em revista. [Scientific outputs]
