Holds a master degree in Multidisciplinary Portuguese Studies from Universidade Aberta obtained with the dissertation: Futuro aparente e futuro real: o porvir na poética e na retórica de “Os Lusíadas” (2015). Obtained his PhD in 2021 in Portuguese Studies (Universidade Aberta) with the thesis A retórica na ficção: a construção da personagem em diálogos de cinco autores humanistas. He is a post-doctoral fellow at IELT and conducts research on Portuguese dialogues. His main topics of interest are: renaissance studies; literary dialogues; poetics and rhetoric; narrative studies.
