Um colóquio em forma de assim [A colloquium in the form of this] celebrates the 100th birthday of Alexandre O’Neill, the poet who was born on December 19th, 1924.

The meeting, which will take place on January 30th and 31st at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation and the National Library of Portugal, aims to re-read O’Neill and proposes a programme that covers various dimensions of his work in dialogue with other peers. O’Neill: a question we’ll be asking ourselves over the course of these two days and which, we hope, will continue beyond them.
