Exhibition: Lisbon in revolution, 1383-1974

In the year that marks the 50th anniversary of the revolution of April 25th 1974, the exhibition Lisbon in revolution, 1383-1974 invokes various moments of rupture and transformation that have taken place in Lisbon from the Middle Ages to the present day.

The exhibition, curated by Daniel Alves, focuses on several periods of tension to tell stories of resistance and change, of the reinvention of identity, human rights and freedom. Based on the stories of specific characters on the ground where the actions took place, the exhibition explores the transformations in the historical political, social and cultural landscape that have unfolded in Lisbon.

The exhibition is on display at the Museum of Lisbon until January 5th, 2025. More information here.
