The international colloquium La comida en la cultura europea entre la Edad Media y el Renacimiento [Food in European Culture between the Middle Ages and the Renaissance] will be held from May 26th to 28th via zoom.

In the Middle Ages and Renaissance, the moment of the meal was a social act, as it was the space to exhibit the panoply of virtues that should adorn the individual and that defined him/her as an adequate person.

Researcher Margarida Esperança Pina integrates the scientific committee of the event and participates with the communication Comida en Portugal durante el Renacimiento [Food in Portugal during the Renaissance].
