Abstract: This book brings together the unpublished versions of traditional romances that were collected by José Joaquim Dias Marques in the district of Bragança (in the months of August and September 1980-1982 and 1987) and recently transcribed by Ana Sirgado, from the digitalisation she undertook of the audio record of the popular recitation. Besides the poems, the volume includes the critical presentation and the history of the collection, made by the collector and editor of the compositions.
