Partnership: Escrita com Asas

The Atlas of Literary Landscapes of Mainland Portugal project has established a partnership with the magazine Wilder – Rewilding your days entitle Escrita com Asas [Writing with Wings].

This partnership consists of a series of chronicles on representations of birds based on excerpts from the literary works of Portuguese writers from the 19th century to the present day. Throughout 2020, the following chronicles were published:

– Voos de gansos e patos-bravos [Flights of geese and wild ducks], Ana Isabel Queiroz

– À espera das andorinhas [Waiting for the swallows], Joana Portela

– O nosso parque Kruger [Our Kruger Park], Ana Isabel Queiroz
– A cascalhada prazenteira das gralhas [The pleasant gravel of crows], Natália Constâncio
A alegria das aves [The joy of birds], Helena Geraldes
– Linhas: A mão, o papel, o pássaro e o horizonte em conversa [Lines: The hand, the paper, the bird and the horizon in conversation], Carlos Augusto Ribeiro
