The book O Medievalismo no século XXI [Medievalism in the XXI Century], published by Peter Lang, is the most recent publication coordinated by Isabel Barros Dias, Margarida Santos Alpalhão and Margarida Esperança Pina.

This work aims to contribute to the ongoing reflection on the place and relevance of medieval studies today. The global idea that encompasses the entire book is the desire to oppose established mentalities and the search for new perspectives on old topics, although some of them have already been worked on.

The launch of the book will take place at the XIII Colloquium of the Portuguese Section of the Hispanic Association of Medieval Literature (AHLM) on May 6th and 7th, 2021.
