The colloquium A Mesa e a Festa [The Table and the Party] will be held on May 9th and 10th at the Museu Nacional de Arte Antiga.
The programme will continue to be trandisciplinary. Through literary, artistic (music, painting, jewellery and porcelain) and historical sources, the ways in which the table has become a scene of celebration are revealed, particularly in the West.
