Sara Silva (IELT) is co-author of the paper Comparative phylogenetic analyses uncover the ancient roots of Indo-European folktales. The article, published in the Royal Society Open Science, was featured in the March issue of “National Geographic” magazine.
The paper, co-authored with Jamie Tehrani (Centre for the Co-evolution of Biology and Culture), uses biology to conclude that some oral transmission stories have common ancestral heritages and date back to between 2500 and 6000 years ago.
