The book La Edad Media proyectada: El pasado medieval ibérico en la creación audiovisual en lenguas portuguesa y española, coordinated by Alicia Miguélez, Erika Loic and Felipe Brandi, is now available.

This volume brings together pioneering studies on the representation of the Iberian Middle Ages in Spanish and Portuguese cinema and television. It explores themes such as recreation, identity, and ideology, analysing contemporary uses of the medieval past. Published by Iberoamericana Vervuert, this publication has the support of the Institute for the Study of Literature and Tradition (IELT) and the Institute for Medieval Studies (IEM) and is available in open access on the publisher’s website.
