On February 25th, at 6 p.m, IELT researcher Carlos Carreto participates in the conference Literatura Escrita por Mulheres [Literature Written by Women]. 

In a cultural context in which male voices largely dominate the literary universe, female voices (often filtered or transferred through male discourse) echo as discrete and often anonymous. Carlos Carreto proposes at this conference to listen to some of these distant and inaudible voices, looking for traces and distinctive characteristics of a feminine imaginary of writing in the Middle Ages.
