The conference O Pensamento Poetante. Jornada de estudos sobre Giacomo Leopardi will take place on November 16th at the National Library of Portugal.

An exhibition will also be on display at the National Library of Portugal, marking the 220th anniversary of the birth of the Italian poet Giacomo Leopardi. Full conference program here and more information about the exhibition here.

The exhibition is curated by Andrea Ragusa (IELT – NOVA FCSH) and Andréia Guerini (UFSC-CNPq) in partnership with the National Library of Portugal, the Italian Institute of Culture, the Institute for the Study of Literature and Tradition, the NOVA Institute of Philosophy, the Institute of Italian Studies and the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC).
