From March 5th to the 7th, Madalena, on the island of Pico, hosts the Colóquio Vinum vita est – Culturas da Vinha e do Vinho: Entre o Mediterrâneo e o Atlântico [Colloquium Vinum vita est – Vine and Wine Cultures: Between the Mediterranean and the Atlantic].

The meeting, organized by Universidade NOVA de Lisboa and Universidade Aberta, aims to promote a reflection on the culture of vines and wine. Admission is free.
