The cycle of IELT Doctoral Students Seminar will take place at NOVA FCSH throughout 2018 and 2019. These seminars, organised by the IELT and coordinated by Carlos Carreto, seek to debate issues that concern the concrete reality of researchers/students.
The following sessions are scheduled:
March 15th, 2018 – Como escrevi uma tese [How I wrote a thesis];
December 5th, 2018 – O tempo de investigação I: Para uma gestão do tempo e dos métodos de trabalho [Research time I: Time management and working methods];
February 20th, 2019 – O tempo de investigação I: Para um apoio à investigação: o gestor Mendeley [Research time I: Research support: the Mendeley manager];
April 30th, 2019 – Tessitura da escrita científica: ferramentas fundamentais para a escrita académica [Scientific writing: fundamental tools for academic writing];
June 19th, 2019 – Para lá de Ítaca, publicar a tese: o processo de transformação de uma tese em livro [Beyond Ithaca, publishing the thesis: the process of transforming a thesis into a book].
