IELT makes available, in open access, the ebook Primeira Atualização ao Catálogo dos Contos Tradicionais Portugueses (com as versões análogas dos países lusófonos) [First Update of the Catalogue of Portuguese Traditional Folktales (including the analogous versions of Lusophone countries)]. The work integrates the collection “Editing Memory” and is authored by Paulo Correia and Teresa Araújo (the collection’s director).

The First Update of the Catalogue of Portuguese Traditional Folktales increases the bibliographic inventory of oral tradition tales in Portugal and analogous versions of Lusophone countries, namely Brazil. The versions of tales referenced from one hundred and seventeen works are classified and described by tale type and grouped according to caregories (sub-genres). The volume also offers two indexes: one of Portuguese municipalities, and another of new types found.
