PhD and Master’s in Literature, PhD candidate in Philosophy, with a Bachelor’s degree in History, Philosophy and Portuguese Language/Literature, I pursue a deeply interdisciplinary trajectory that articulates Literature, Philosophy and History. My research spans literary hermeneutics, discourse analysis, comparative literature, semiotics, and the study of myths, representations, and the imaginary, with particular attention to nineteenth-century Portuguese and Brazilian literature and to the theme of the Tragic. I also investigate ancient and medieval periods, exploring questions such as the condition of women, witchcraft, the Inquisition, and the symbolism of the Devil in the arts. In Philosophy, I focus on the areas of Metaphysics and Ethics, especially within the German tradition and in Arthur Schopenhauer, and I develop a line of research dedicated to the metaphysical thought of Antero de Quental as a philosopher. Bringing these fields together, I seek to understand how subjectivity, morality, and historical imaginary intertwine in the formation and transformation of philosophical ideas.
