Associate Professor at the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences of Universidade NOVA de Lisboa, where he is currently Vice-Dean for Planning and Quality Management and Scientific Vice-coordinator of IELT. His main teaching and research fields are French Literature, Theory of Literature, Medieval Studies, and Studies on the Imaginary. Besides being an integrated researcher at IELT, he is also a member of the Institute of Medieval Studies (NOVA FCSH), of GRIS-France, and an associate researcher of LITT&ARTS (Université Grenoble-Alpes). Founding member and permanent member of the editorial board of the Luso-French interdisciplinary journal Sigila, he also belongs to the scientific committee of several publications devoted to literary and interart studies. His publications have been focused on the dynamic relations between Tradition, Myth, and Literature with special attention to medieval narrative. [Scientific outputs]
