
João obtained a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities at the Nova University of Lisbon in 2018. He has master’s degree in General Philosophy at the same university with a dissertation about Laughter in Baudelaire: a problem of translation between subject and life. He is currently a doctoral student in Philosophy, where he seeks to develop his project The existential lethargy of the head of the family – a study on the notion of everyday life in The Book of Disquiet. In 2021, he won the merit and excellence award for best master’s degree.
