Holds a BA in Portuguese and Brazilian Literature (2011), a master’s degree in Literary Theory (2016) from the University of Lisbon (2011), and an MA in Film Programming and Curating from Birkbeck, University of London (2018). Morais has been working in film since 2014. She works at Cinemateca Portuguesa-Museu do Cinema, as part of the Access to the Film Collections team, and is a PhD student in Film and Screen Media at Birkbeck College, University of London, with a project devoted to the interdisciplinary nature of António Reis and Margarida Cordeiro’s cinema. She keeps a practice as a film critic and programmer.
