The international conference Using the Past: The Middle Ages in the Spotlight will take place from December 10th to December 12th at the Monastery of Santa Maria da Vitória (Batalha).

The conference aims to bring together scholars from around the world concerned with the uses of the medieval past. Participants will address when, where, how and by whom the medieval past was used. IELT is one of the organisers of the event, which invites students, researchers and those interested in the subject to participate.
