PhD in Medieval Studies

From March 12th to June 25th the first phase of applications is open for the new edition of the PhD in Medieval Studies (e-learning), a joint offer from the NOVA School of Social Sciences and Humanities and Universidade Aberta.

This interdisciplinary doctorate is offered on an e-learning basis and involves several NOVA FCSH research centres, such as: CESEM – Centre for the Study of Sociology and Musical Aesthetics, CLUNL – Linguistics Research Centre of NOVA University Lisbon, IELT – Institute for the Study of Literature and Tradition, IEM – Institute for Medieval Studies and IHA – Art History Institute.

Launch: Deuses menores e espíritos dos lugares

The launch of the book Deuses menores e espíritos dos lugares: Os santos da terra, em Terra de santos by IELT researcher Aurélio Lopes will take place on March 16th at the Regional Cultural Center of Santarém.

The presentation will be in charge of Ernesto Jana and Vítor Serrão.

Fulbright Scholarships (PhD and Masters)

The Fulbright Commission announces the opening of calls for proposals for scholarships for students admitted to doctoral and master’s programmes at North American universities, starting in the 2019/2020 academic year.
