Atlas of Literary Landscapes in Observador

The Atlas of Literary Landscapes of mainland Portugal project was featured in Observador newspaper.

The project’s mission is to study Portuguese literature published between the mid-19th century and the present, in order to identify descriptions of landscapes relating to the territory of mainland Portugal. The project began in 2010 and was conceived, structured and coordinated by Ana Isabel Queiroz until 2017.

Since 2018, the project has been coordinated by Natália Constâncio and Daniel Alves, and an effort has been made to update its technological structure, with new thematic lines of research (namely poetry) and new partnerships with other research centres, but also with a more diverse public that has embraced the idea of combining a love of reading with a greater knowledge of the territory.
