As part of the Poesia à Quinta [Poetry on Thursday] series, researcher Natália Constâncio will be the guest speaker at the session Literatura e Paisagem [Literature and Landscape], taking place on May 29th, at 6:30 PM, at FNAC Oeiras.
The session invites reflection on the landscapes portrayed in fiction and poetry. What geographies emerge through literature? What paths are imagined? How do writers and poets shape the visual and emotional terrains of their texts?
Drawing from her work on the Atlas of Literary Landscapes of Mainland Portugal, a research project she co-coordinates with Daniel Alves, Natália Constâncio will explore the role of landscape in fictional literature, with a special focus on poetry.
The session will be held in Portuguese. Entry is free.
