Sandra Boto was one of the researchers hired under the Individual Call to Scientific Employment Stimulus (CEEC), financed by FCT, with the project From the past to the future: the platform of the Portuguese expression folk balladry.

The researcher will carry out her work at IELT and develop a digital platform of the Portuguese language novel. It is a project in the are of digital humanities focused on the edition, preservation, study and scientific dissemination of a type of linguistic heritage. The project takes on a strong social challenge: preserving relevant cultural material, goal 11.4 (“Strengthen efforts to protect and safeguard the world’s cultural and natural heritage”) according to the 2030 Agenda.
