On September 10th the documentary Arte no livro [Art in the Book] will be screened at the Lisbon Book Fair.

The documentary, which premiered in May at Palácio Galveias, is part of a partnership between the Lisbon Municipal Archive and IELT, which aims to carry out a study on the technical procedures of bookbinding and ornamentation of the book, and involves identifying the craftsmen who historically dedicated themselves to the craft in the city of Lisbon, and the craftsmen who still practice this profession, the techniques they apply and how they were taught and how they teach their techniques.
