The VI Congreso Internacional del Romancero [VII International Congress of the Romanceiro] takes place on November 25th, 26th and 27th at the Complutense University of Madrid. This initiative is organised by the Ramón Menéndez Pidal Foundation and aims to pay tribute to Ramón Menéndez Pidal, as well as presenting the work carried out in the project “El Romancero: Nuevas perspectivas en su documentación, edición y estudio”.

Inspired by previous editions, the meeting aims to be a place for sharing and debate between the different specialists dedicated to the study of Romanceiro. The meeting features the participation of several IELT researchers, including Ana Sirgado, J. J. Dias Marques, Luís Tarujo, Natália Pires e Teresa Araújo.
