On September 28th the rectory of Universidade NOVA de Lisboa will host the conference Almada Negreiros – 130 anos [Almada Negreiros – 130 years], as well as the opening of the exhibition with the same name. At the end of the day, a set of texts by Almada will be read by the actresses Rita Durão, Rita Loureiro, Sofia Marques and the actor Dinis Gomes.
The exhibition consists of a small sample of Almada Negreiros’ collection deposited at NOVA FCSH (managed by IHA and IELT). It includes examples of manuscripts, books and periodicals from Almada’s library, photographs, drawings for publication in the press, preparatory studies for public works and press cuttings kept in the family estate.
