The exhibition Almada Negreiros e o Mosteiro da Batalha – Quinze pinturas primitivas num retábulo imaginado [Almada Negreiros and Batalha Monastery – Fifteen primitive paintings in an imagined altarpiece], which celebrates an audacious and original idea from the portuguese artist Almada Negreiros, commissioned by Simão Palmeirim and Pedro Freitas, received an honorable mention from the Portuguese Museology Association, attributed to the research that inspired the exhibition.

The exhibition can be visited until December 21st at the Founder’s Chapel of Batalha Monastery.
