Classified as a World and Intangible Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO, the Mediterranean diet is considered one of the healthiest dietary patterns in the world and has a set of knowledge, practices and traditions shared by many mediterranean countries.
In a brief report on the Mediterranean diet, prepared by TVI24, recent changes are discussed, namely the introduction of new cultures and dietary changes. IELT researcher Maria Manuel Valagão explains how some traditions have changed in this changing world.
